Lorine Vest Huff, 92 of Floyd, passed away on Friday,
September 12, 2025. She is preceded in death by her twin sister and
brother-in-law, Claudine and Don L. Haynes; sister and brother-in-law, Ina and
Herbert Wood; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harless and Ruby Vest, Alton and
Christine Vest, and Freddie and Shelby Vest.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Julian
David "Haney" Huff; sons and daughters-in-law, Eric Huff (Gail Bandy), and
Dennis Huff (Sandy); grandson, Dylan Huff; special caregiver, Lori Sutphin; and
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Medi Home
Health and Hospice and to Callie, Heather, and Morgan who took great care of
Lorine.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September
14, 2025 in the Jacksonville Cemetery with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of
Lorine Vest Huff, to the Medical Charities of Floyd County, 100 E Main St.,
Floyd, VA 24091.
