Lorine Lillie Palitza

Lorine Lillie Schneider Palitza, 81, passed away on September 5, 2025. Lorine was born in
Floresville, Texas on November 13, 1943 to Ben and Annie Schneider. She was a lifelong
resident of Floresville, where she married the love of her life, Isidore Palitza on May 8 th , 1965 at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Together they raised 3 children and shared 40 blessed years of
marriage until Isidore passed away.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all. Lorine loved her
children and grandchildren above all else. She was a member of her bunco club for over 50
years. She was an amazing seamstress and enjoyed working in her flowerbeds.

Lorine was met in heaven with open arms by her husband Isidore Palitza, an infant son, an
infant daughter, her parents Ben and Annie Schneider, her siblings Eleanora Schneider, Evelyn
Schulze, Edgar Schneider, Leonard Schneider, Leo Schneider, Helen Klepac, Parents-in-law
Clement and Josephine Palitza, and brothers-in-law; Fabian Palitza, and Alvin Palitza.

She is survived by her children; Jeffrey Palitza, Debra Merrill and husband Steve, and Dorene
Palitza, grandchildren Clayton Merrill, Shane Palitza and fiancé Ana, Brandon Merrill and wife
Abi, Craig Palitza and wife Abby, and Kalli Palitza, siblings Raymond Schneider and wife Lucille,
and Dorothy Wenzel, sibling-in-laws Adrian Palitza and wife Lucy, Peggy Palitza, Liz Helmke and
husband Al, Shirley Palitza, Dorothy Stolle and husband Bill, and Mary Moczygemba and
husband Gene, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville on Thursday,
September 11, 2025 with a visitation from 9:00AM-10:30AM, a rosary will be recited at
10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment will be held at The Sacred Heart
Catholic Cemetery.
