Al is preceded in death by his parents Josphaine and Clem Palitza and his brother Isidore Palitza.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Shirley (Polasek) Palitza, son Daniel Palitza and daughter Sara (Kevin) Lyssy, and grandchildren Katie Palitza, Seth Lyssy, Becca Palitza, and Kenna Lyssy; brothers Adrian (Lucy) Palitza, Fabin (Peggy) Palitza; and sisters Elizabeth (Al) Helmke, Dorothy (Bill) Stolle, and Mary (Gene) Moczygemba and sister-in-law Lorine Palitza and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Alvin is known for working around his family ranch as well his 36 years at CPS Energy. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, and friend.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm at Holy Trinity Church in Falls City, Texas. A funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16th also at the church.Interment followed at the Falls City Cemetery.
Pallbearers included his loved family and friends.
