Lorna L. Statkiewicz, 61, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her home in Stoughton. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edwin S. and Mary L. (Harmon) Statkiewicz. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, class of 1982. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton.

Lorna worked as a legal trademark researcher for Thompson & Thompson and later Clarivate in Boston for many years. She was a beloved sister and devoted auntie to her 6 nieces and nephews. Lorna was a communicant at the Good Samaritan Hospital Chapel for many years. She enjoyed day trips to Cape Cod with her family, dining out, and trips to local casinos with family and friends.

For those that knew Lorna well witnessed how caring a person she was. Always putting those in need first. She was the primary caregiver for both of her parents for many years. She put her heart and soul to try to make their later years as comfortable as possible. Donating flowers to her beloved Father Rick at Good Samaritan Chapel for holidays and special services were very important to her. She was always available to watch and care for her 6 nieces and nephews when they were younger. Spoiling them with gifts on birthdays and special occasions was special to her. She always played a big part in family holidays whether hosting or visiting. Everybody always looked forward to her famous broccoli casserole and delicious desserts. Her dedication to family and friends was appreciated by all.

Lorna is survived by her brothers, Edwin C. Statkiewicz and his wife Lisa of Bridgewater, William J. Statkiewicz of Stoughton, Brian J. Statkiewicz and his partner Debbie of Mansfield and Carl Statkiewicz and his wife Suzanne of Menlo Park, CA. She was the auntie of Ryan, Sara, Tess, Laurel, Margot and Brayden and is also survived by several close friends and cousins.

Funeral Services will be private with burial at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
