Lorraine Cox, age 65, of Gray, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 16, 2024. Lorraine attended Sulphur Springs School and Daniel Boone High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Lorraine loved to raise roses.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jay Littleton and Polly Miller; brothers, Bill and Ernie Littleton and Kermit Miller; sisters, Elsie Whitaker, Etta Wilson and Vanessa Miller; and daughters, Brittany Ferguson and Michelle Peregory.
Lorraine was survived by her loving companion, Ronnie Lane; sons, Jamie and Heath Cox, Tim Lane and wife, Jessica and Anthony Lane; grandchildren, Gracie and Zarah Cox, Gabe Johnson, and Amber and Kimberly Lane; sister, Judy Taylor; brother, Sam Miller and wife Trish; special friend, Linda Hamilton and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7pm on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Charlie Byrd and Rev. Shannon Lane officiating. Graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Bacon-Kincheloe Cemetery, Jonesborough.
Pallbearers will be Tim Lane, Travis Lane, Christopher Odle, Kevin Lane, Gary Lane and Landon Lane.
