Lorraine A. Fenton

Lorraine A. Fenton, 95, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in Springfield, New Jersey.
Born in Newark, Lorraine grew up in Irvington, where she met her husband, Stephen. They married and made their home in Union, where they lived and raised their family for many years. After retiring, Lorraine and Stephen moved to Toms River, where they enjoyed their later years together-especially their trips to Atlantic City, taking pleasure in the buffets and the free gifts from the casino.
Lorraine will always be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family. Her love and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.
Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen, who passed away on March 30, 2013; her dear daughter, Karen Ann Fenton, who passed away on August 18, 1998, and her daughter-in-law, Irene Fenton who passed away April 17, 2020.
She is survived by her loving sons, Stephen L. and his wife, Karen, and Kenneth and his longtime companion, Colette Griswold, who was like a daughter-in-law to her; Lorriane is also survived by her six cherished grandchildren: Jennifer, Stephen J., Kenneth Jr., Stacey, Sheri, and Sammantha; and her ten treasured great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Chapel Service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.
