Ann A. Serritella (née Melillo), beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on October 28, 2025. Born on August 9, 1933, in Newark, New Jersey, she spent most of her life in Morris County, where she created a life filled with warmth, generosity, and laughter.
She was the center of her family - everything she did was for them. A devoted caretaker by nature, she spent much of her life caring for others, especially her own loved ones in times of illness and need. Her selflessness and compassion knew no limits.
She was an amazing cook whose kitchen was always the gathering place for family and friends. Her meals brought everyone together, but it was her kindness, love, and steady presence that made her the heart of the family.
Her presence and love carried through three generations, touching the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony P. Serritella Sr. She is survived by her sons: Anthony and his wife Jane, Peter, and Robert and his wife Amber; as well as seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her deep devotion, her gentle strength, and her unwavering love - qualities that will continue to guide all those she leaves behind.
Her Liturgy of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Wednesday November 5, 2025 at St. Christopher R.C. Church 1050 Littleton Road Parsippany, Interment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover.
