Razwan C. Ahmad

Razwan Ahmad ("Razy") died September 15th, 2025, in Los Angeles at the age of 24. He was born on September 3rd, 2001, in the Bronx, where he lived for the first few years of his life before moving to Parsippany, NJ. He faced many difficulties at a young age but can be remembered with a smile always on his face. He had a love for acting, from making videos of short skits with his brother Ramy to joining Drama Club and Choir in middle school. When he was 19, he left to live in LA. Out there, he again faced many difficulties, yet he was happy. He connected with the LA LGBT center where he felt accepted and comfortable being who he wanted to be.
He is predeceased by his dad, Imtiaz Ahmad ("Mohammed"); his mom, Deborah Buchanan ("Debbie"); his paternal grandparents, Chaudhry and Zohra Ahmad; and his maternal grandparents, Bruce and Judy Buchanan.
He is survived by his brother Ramzan Ahmad ("Ramy"), his half-brother Daniel Buchanan, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 27th, 2025, at Par Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Rd., Parsippany, NJ. Interment to immediately follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 26,2025, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
