Pearl May Ahmad, 91 of Port Charlotte, Florida went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Advent Health in Port Charlotte, Florida under the care of Hospice with her Niece Judy by her side.

Pearl was born on September 10, 1933, in Kingston Jamaica to the late Ivan Chin and Rita Blake.

Pearl was the devoted wife of the late Sarfaraz Ahmad. They lived in England and traveled the world and finally settled in the United States of America, a place they called home. She enjoyed life and traveled with her late husband to many countries.

Pearl retired from Riggs Bank as a Bookkeeper and after her husband's death in Maryland, settled in Port Charlotte, Florida to be closer to family and friends. During her years in Maryland Pearl opened up her home many times through the years to friends and family with gatherings and was there for them in time of need. Pearl was a kind and determined woman and lived a long life filled with love and happiness. She was known for her love and kindness for others.

Pearl and Sarfaraz never had children but left behind many nieces and nephews. Her family and friends were very special to her. Unfortunately, she outlived her husband Sarfaraz and is survived by other beloved family members.

Pearl will be missed by many nieces and nephews and their children and the many friends she has had throughout the years. You are forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life for Pearl will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 2230 Hariet St., Port Charlotte, Florida 33952 at 11:30 AM on August 16, 2025.
