Lorraine M. Frey, 90, of Chambersburg, passed away July 28, 2025 at Menno Haven's Chambers Pointe. She was born June 17, 1935, in State Line, PA, the daughter of Amos E. and Esther (Kuhns) Eby. Lorraine was a homemaker and faithfully served as a pastor's wife for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lorraine is survived by six children, Glenda K. (wife of Rodney) Small of Chambersburg, Lavonda M. (wife of Clark) Patterson of Fayetteville, Dean E. (husband of Ruth Ann) Frey of Chambersburg, Regina S. (wife of Myron) Brubaker of Mt. Crawford, VA., Charlene M. (wife of Larry) Frey of Chambersburg, Lynn E. (husband of Hope) Frey of Chambersburg. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren, siblings Verna Mae Eby, Wilmer Eby and Galen Eby.

She was preceded in death by her husband Preston M. Frey, son, Duane L. Frey, five grandchildren and a son-in-law, Paul Slabach, brothers Nathan Eby and Donald Eby.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chambersburg Mennonite Church, with Pastors Jerry Roth, Dale Lehman and Jere Horst officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, and for one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Lorraine's name may be made to Cumberland Valley Relief Center, Meat Canning Project, 4225 Molly Pitcher Hwy, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
