Lorraine Ann Johnson passed away April 7, 2024, at the age of 91 at her home in Bay City. She was born on February 4, 1933, in Bay City, MI to the late Steven and Mary (Czerwinski) Olszowy. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Gerald J. Johnson, her son, Allen Johnson and her closest friend and loving neighbor, Tom Maxwell (Jeanne Jones).
Lorraine was a loving Care Giver, but she didn't stop there; she was an incredibly nice and caring person, whether it came to the people at work, the others in her life, or the wildlife and animals, she would be found helping them. She was an adoring and kind neighbor who loved to share ice cream on hot summer days, and chocolate on any other day. She would almost always have been found on her neighbor's porch any day the sun was shining - even in the winter! If the sun was out, so was she!
She also loved tending to her gorgeous flowers and her meticulous lawn. In between trimming her weeds and gardening, she would watch the animals and feed them. When she wasn't working on her flowers, she liked to read and color.
Her husband, son, and neighbor have entrusted Squires Funeral Home (211 N. Henry St., Bay City, MI, 48706) with the arrangements for her burial.
