It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorraine Marie Lunnon, who left this world on March 5, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on January 17, 1937, Lorraine filled the lives of many with warmth, love, and an infectious spirit that will forever be remembered.
As a devoted mother, Lorraine's legacy is carried on by her beloved children: Adele "Dede" Lesser, Mike Lunnon, Kathie Lunnon, and Ray Lunnon. Each of her children were a shining testament to her nurturing ways, reflecting the love and values she instilled in them throughout their lives. The joy she found in her family was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment spent with her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Lorraine's family was her pride; she celebrated their achievements and supported them through life's challenges, always ready with a comforting word or a gentle hug.
Lorraine's life journey was not without its trials. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and three brothers, as well as her belated husband, whose memory she treasured throughout her life. Lorraine drew strength from her family even in their absence, holding their memories close to her heart like precious treasures.
Those who knew Lorraine can attest to her radiant spirit and how she brightened any room she entered. Her laughter was contagious, and her kindness knew no bounds. Lorraine possessed a remarkable ability to make those around her feel loved and valued. Whether through shared meals or heartfelt conversations, she fostered deep connections that left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Lorraine's journey through this world may have come to an end, but her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. As we cherish her memory, we hold onto the love and lessons she provided throughout her life. Her legacy remains strong within her family, who will continue to carry her light forward in everything they do. Lorraine Marie Lunnon will be deeply missed but never forgotten, her love forever etched in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
