Lorraine was born and raised in Harrison, NJ, where she lived for many years before moving to Cranford. Growing up Lorraine was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church where she made all her Sacraments. She was a graduate of Harrison High School, enjoyed her position as a majorette and then attended Berkeley Secretarial School. She worked as a Legal Secretary for Louis DiLeo, Esq., in Linden, NJ for many years before retiring.
Lorraine enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, hosting holidays and spending summers at the Belmar bungalow. She had a natural talent for growing beautiful plants in her home. She was an enthusiastic Tony Danza fan and even joined his fan club. She loved Neil Diamond music and attended his concerts. Her favorite thing to do was babysit her grandchildren when they were younger, playing board games with her grandson and playing dolls with her granddaughter. She was known for having the kindest, giving heart.
Lorraine is survived by her loving daughter, Julie-Ann Hay and her husband, Brian Hay, cherished grandchildren, Lauren Hay, Joseph Wasowski and his wife, Angie, and dear sisters, Vickie Sabia and Sally Ann Bond. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Sally Sabia and brother-in-law, Bobby Bond.
Lorraine's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
