Lorraine T. Thibodeau, 74 died January 26,2026 at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle. She was born in Madawaska, August 29,1951 of the late Leo and Jeannine (Dufour) Desjardins.

Throughout her life, she held careers at Ames and the High View Manor where she retired.

Lorraine was an extremely hard-working single mother that raised 3 boys on her own. Many times, she held a few part and full time jobs. Many of her children’s friends often called her mom and her home was a safe spot for all to congregate. She enjoyed playing bingo, cribbage and going to the casino to gamble a little. She often gave to others even if it meant that she went without.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Gerard Thibodeau of New Zealand, Steve and Stacy Thibodeau of Caribou, Billy and Erica Thibodeau of Caribou. Also survived by her siblings, Leo James and Patricia Desjardins, Richard and Bonnie Desjardins, Reid Desjardins, David and Faye Desjardins, Lisa Desjardins, and Teresa Desjardins and a sister-in-law Linda Desjardins. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers Wilfred and Larry Desjardins and 1 daughter-in-law Cheryl Thibodeau.

Per her wishes, there will not be a service. In lieu of cards and flowers, the family asks to donate to the Aroostook House of Comfort in her name.
