Lorraine G. Trodella

Lorraine G. (Cyr) Trodella, age 91, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at her home on November 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel John Trodella with whom she enjoyed 64 years of marriage.
She was born in Van Buren, ME on March 12, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Eric and Flavie (Roy) Cyr.
Lorraine was raised in Van Buren, ME and moved to Lowell, MA as a teenager. She worked for Colonial Gas and met her husband there and raised her family. Later, she went back to the gas company (which is now known as National Grid) until she retired. She enjoyed going to the senior center, crocheting and knitting for her grandchildren. She was very passionate about dogs; her daughter's dog Cooper put a smile on her face and was a great comfort to her after her husband passed away.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Samuel Trodella, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Litchfield, NH, Cheryl Trodella of Dracut, and Michael Trodella and his wife Ellen of Myrtle Beach, SC; her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Honoring Lorraine's wishes, all of her services are being held privately.
