Carol Susan (Myslowski) Neal, 70, a longtime resident of Dracut passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Walter "Wally" Patrick Neal, with whom she shared 45 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on January 5, 1955, Carol was the daughter of the late Adam John Myslowski and Olga P. (Waranuk) Myslowski. She was a proud graduate of Lowell High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Lowell. Carol began her career with CTI in Lowell and later taught for several years in the Lowell Public Schools, where she touched the lives of many young students.
Carol will be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous woman who devoted herself to her family and friends. She had a lifelong love of animals, especially her beloved cats, and took great joy in caring for the birds and other wildlife that visited her yard. Always the first to lend a helping hand, Carol gave freely of her time and compassion to anyone in need. Her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her devoted husband, Wally, Carol is survived by her cherished sisters, Ann Marie and Janet; several cousins; and many dear friends, especially Agnes and Margaret. She also leaves behind her much-loved cat, Goldie.
Visiting Hours will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Following her visitation, there will be a funeral procession to St. Mary's Cemetery in Tewksbury where her graveside service will be held at 2:15 PM.
