Lucille Blanchet

Mrs. Lucille (Ouellet) Blanchet, 84, of Methuen passed away on November 13, 2025, at Andover Manor Rehab and Nursing. Born in Canada on January 15, 1941, she had been an area resident since 1968. Lucille was a stay home wife and mother who always enjoyed babysitting children, working on word searches, puzzles, and sewing and knitting. She took pride in her rose bushes, decorating for all the holidays, and was a devout catholic, but her greatest love was spending time with her family. Lucille was the widow of Eudore Blanchet, and was also pre-deceased by her son Joel Blanchet. She is survived by her daughter: Chantal Blanchet of Methuen, two sons: Alan Blanchet of Methuen, Yves Blanchet of Methuen, three sisters: Pierrette Gagnon, Francine Caron, and Rita Melanfant, and one brother: Gaitaen Ouellet, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Racicot Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Methuen.
