Lorraine Haley (Kelly) Wuebker, 26 year old resident of Auburn, Iowa, passed away on December 15, 2022 at St. Anthony Hospital, Carroll IA, due to an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear a sweatshirt hoodie.
Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for Lorraine's family at www.sharpfuneral.com.
Lorraine Haley (Kelly) Wuebker was born April 16, 1996 in Northfield, Minnesota, the daughter of Carmen (Kelly) and Randy McColley. Upon graduation from Jefferson-Scranton High School she attended Iowa Central Community College for one year in the nursing program. Lorraine was working at Wild Rose Casino, Jefferson IA, as a Cage Supervisor and part of the drop team when she met Nathan Wuebker of Auburn, Iowa in January 2019. Lorraine worked at a Daycare in Rockwell City, Iowa during the beginning of the pandemic. After the pandemic hit she went to work at New Hope Village where she was as a direct support staff in Daisy Lane. June 20, 2020 Lorraine married Nathan in Twin Lakes State Park. Due to Covid, Lorraine and Nathan had a delayed wedding reception April 17, 2021 in Eagle Grove, Iowa. January 22, 2022 Lorraine gave birth to Emmett Dean Wuebker in Omaha, Nebraska at the Women's hospital.
Lorraine had a sense of humor that would light up a room. Lorraine had a deep passion for the residents of Daisy Lane, animals, Christmas, everything Disney, and her family and friends. Lorraine loved being a wife and her favorite title was mom. Lorraine touched so many people and impacted so many lives. One of her favorite things to do is go to Minnesota to see her family. Lorraine had special bonds with her sisters, cousins, enjoyed spending time with them and reminiscing memories and telling others about them.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Nathan Wuebker, her son Emmett Wuebker of Auburn, her mother, Carmen, her dad Randy McColley, her sisters Emma, Kaitlyn and brother Kendrick McColley of Albert Lea, MN, her brothers Chris (Liz) McColley of Faribault, MN, Mike (Amanda) McColley of Fairbanks, AK, paternal Grandparents MaryAnn McColley of Onamia, MN, Maternal Grandparents Pat and Don Kelly of Eagle Grove, IA, parents-in-law Donita and Neil Wuebker, Brother-in-laws Justin (Dani), and Nick Wuebker of Rockwell City IA, and many loved ones.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dennis McColley, uncle Kyle Kelly, and aunt Theresa Schmitz.
