Obituary of Lorretta A. Bondra
Lorretta A. Bondra
Lorretta A. (Piccirilli) Bondra, 82, of Jeffersonville, formerly of Conshohocken, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Norristown (Black Horse), PA, on November 19, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Carmen and the late Ann (Silvestrini) Piccirilli.
Lorretta lived in Jeffersonville for the past six years, having spent most of her life in Conshohocken. She was a devoted member of Ss. Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church and, more recently, St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church.
Lorretta was the heartbeat of her family, deeply loved and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. As the matriarch, she held them together, with everyone gathering around her table to savor her incredible, lovingly prepared meals. Her home was always filled with warmth, love, and the irresistible aroma of her Italian cooking. She made sure no one ever left her house hungry, and her kitchen was a place of joy, laughter, and meaningful connection.
In addition to her culinary talents, Lorretta had a few other passions. She was a whiz with a sewing needle, often stitching up something special for a friend or family member. And let's not forget her love for bingo with her close-knit group, or an occasional slot machine, where she played with the focus of a seasoned professional.
In addition to being a homemaker, Lorretta worked at various jobs, including Whitemarsh Jewelers, a local dentist's office, and, for 18 years, at Professional System Corporation, from which she retired. She was a dedicated volunteer, giving her time to many organizations as her sons were growing up. Lorretta served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Conshohocken Golden Bears Football League and was known for her boundless energy and caring spirit.
Lorretta is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Joseph W. Bondra, Jr., and their three sons: Michael J. Bondra, Carmen J. Bondra, and Joseph Bondra, III, all of Conshohocken. Lorretta also leaves behind her loving sister, Patricia Marchese of East Norriton, and an adoring group of grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as "Nonna": Laury Raiken (Michael), Robert Pizzico (Meagan), Joseph Bondra IV, Carly Pearse (Erik), Carmen Bondra Jr., Michael Bondra Jr. (Angela), Evan Bondra (Dee), Natalie Bondra, and great-grandchildren: Libby, Henry, Ella, Jaxon, Dempsey, Audrianna, Hartlee, Chance, Gabe, Aiden, and Wesley. Additionally, she is survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as many dear friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.
Friends may call on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the church.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
Lorretta's legacy of love, devotion, and family will forever be remembered.

I met Lorretta when I started at PSC info group. She was a wonderful person. Always friendly and loved to cook. We met up many years later playing Bingo @ the Fellowship House. When she won Bingo I knew just from here voice who won. I enjoyed our talks at the games and by phone. I will truly miss her. RIP Lorretta
