Lottie S. McManus, 97, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, surrounded by her children. Born on August 11, 1928, Lottie was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha Holland Sansbury. She is predeceased by her sister Beatrice Hatfield, and her brothers, F. L. Sansbury and Thomas Sansbury. She is also predeceased by her husband, Hosea McManus, and her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Chuck Mangham.

Surviving are her children, Steve McManus (Dianne), Sandy Pityk (Steve), and Judy Parker (Sammy), as well as her grandchildren Tim Mangham (Missy), Robert Mangham (Kristie), Traci Wiggins (Stacy), Brian McManus, Jason Pityk (Melissa), Aslinn Pityk, Ashleigh Nunley (David), Trey Parker, and Lindsey Burris. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.

In 1987, Lottie retired from Shaw AFB after thirty years of service. She was beloved by many with whom she had worked and known. After her retirement, she spent the next twelve years caring for her mother, setting an example for her children and grandchildren of loving and honoring their parents.

Lottie was a member of Calvary Bible Church. Throughout her life, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, reading, and spending time with her family. She loved her family and she loved and trusted in Jesus Christ her Savior and Lord.

To know Lottie was to love her and she will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery following the service.
