Lottis Hardwick Barrett, 86, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at The Orchard at Stone Creek in Hahira, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Mount Olive Baptist Church with Reverend Andy Cashwell and Rev. Herman Hampton officiating. A private interment will be held at Baker Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Aaron Brown, Jacob Brown, Jody Burgess, William Collins, Mike Nichols, and Carlos Barrett will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends after the service in the social hall at the church.
She was born on July 23, 1938, in Grady County, Georgia, to the late Aaron Hardwick and Mary Elizabeth Gainous. Mrs. Barrett worked as a florist clerk and bookkeeper for Flowers by Barrett for many years and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Ronald Teaford Barrett; brothers, Vernon Hardwick, Dennis Hardwick, and John Hardwick; and sisters, Anne Reddick and Shirley Poe.
She is survived by her son, Ronald T. “Ronnie” Barrett, Jr. of Tifton; daughters, Paula Barrett of Barney, and Pam Burgess of Moultrie; grandchildren, Ryan Burgess of Moultrie, Aaron Brown and wife Ginny of Canton, Georgia; great grandchildren, Jacob Brown, Katie Brown, Malia Cook, Danica Burgess, and Ryder Burgess.
