Jerry Stevenson “Stevie” Miliam, Jr., 69, of Berlin, died Friday, August 22, 2025, at his home.

A memorial service will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on October 4, 2025 at the home of Paula McMillan.

Born on March 8, 1956, in Colquitt County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Jerry Stevenson Milam, Sr., and Dorothy Jeanette McMurphy Milam Hendrix.

Stevie proudly served his country in the United States Army before beginning a career as a dedicated truck driver. He loved the open road, but his greatest peace came from the outdoors. Whether casting a line on a calm morning or simply soaking in nature’s beauty, Stevie found his happiness in the serenity of God’s creation. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, his adventurous spirit, and his ability to find peace in life’s simple moments. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Lynn Grier Milam; and brother, Tony Milam; and sisters, Elaine Barnes, Julie Howell, Donna Kay Milam, and Kathy Medina.

Mr. Milam is survived by his sons, Mark Milam and wife April of McDonough and Jerry Stevenson Milam, III of Pigeon Forge, TN; daughter, Catherine Brunt of Moultrie; stepsons, Richard Hancock, Shannon Hancock, and Walt Hancock; grandchildren, Victoria Milam, Aaron Milam, Emily Brunt, CJ Brunt and DJ Brunt; brother, Randy Milam; and sister, Paula Milam McMillan of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
