Jeremy Milam Obituary

Passed away July 31, 2025, at the age of 46. Jeremy was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on January 23, 1979, the son of Stephen Kent and Ann (Pifer) Milam. He graduated from Peoria High School in Peoria, AZ. Jeremy was retired from the Eaton Rapids Fire Department as a Firefighter/EMT. He was currently working for Amazon in their medical clinic where he thoroughly loved his job. Jeremy was a natural caretaker, he loved to help people. He was the person his friends and family could always count on, and you could guarantee to leave any encounter with Jeremy laughing or smiling at the very least. He had many hobbies, but his recent love was scuba diving with his friends, Jason and Robin. Jeremy will be sorely missed by all who knew him, his big personality and bright smile will never be forgotten.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Renee Milam of Eaton Rapids; children, Dominic and Mackenzie Milam of Eaton Rapids; brother, Scott (Chris Ann) Milam of Eaton Rapids; nephew, Stephen Milam of Eaton Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kent and Ann, as well as his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton County Humane Society in loving memory of Jeremy Richard Milam. I met Jeremy when I was working Eaton Rapids EMS I would see him on medical and accident calls when First Responders came. I reconnected when he came to Amazon and became what I believed to be a top performer in Medical and Safety parts of the job. He was there and eager to help and always willing to help others. A truly selfless man that I had the pleasure to meet and work with.
