John Edward “Johnny” Jenkins, 72, of Berlin, passed away at South Georgia Medical Center on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Arnold Buckner and Reverend Wilbur Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Will Stafford, Curtis Stafford, Ryan Stafford, and Jacob Stafford will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on July 24, 1952, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clarence Edward Jenkins and Margaret Roebuck Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was retired from Hubble Die Cast and was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Jenkins is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Buckner Jenkins of Berlin; sons, Justin Buckner of Pelham, and Johnny Miller of Moultrie; daughter, Karla Stafford and husband Will of Lenox; grandchildren, Katie Barfield, MaKayla Barfield, Jacob Stafford, Ryan Stafford, Helena Stafford, and Lilian Stafford; great grandchildren, Payton “tater” Barfield, and Nataly “lil-bit” Barfield.
