Louie Mark Irving, Jr., 84, of West Monroe, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Alpine Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ruston, Louisiana.

Louie was born on November 4, 1940, in Minden, Louisiana to Oneida Katherine Case Irving and Louie Mark Irving, Sr. He graduated from West Monroe High School and later Northeast Louisiana University, which is known now as University of Louisiana Monroe where he graduated with a Business Administration Degree in Management. Louie was a former owner and operator of Three-I Industries for many years where he was a machinist as well as the owner. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, in which he excelled and played golf, which he enjoyed. Louie had a great personality and loved kidding around with his family and friends. He was known for his quick wit and always told people "Give him a poke for me when you see him." Louie really enjoyed life and brought much joy to all the people who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Survivors include his children, Carole "LeAnne" Cascio and her husband Joe of West Monroe, Leslie "Kate" Myers and her husband Jacob of Bentonville, Arkansas, Erin Irving of West Monroe and Chase Irving of West Monroe; his sister, Anne Anderson of Pineville, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, Richard, Patricia, Josue, Austin, Juelz, Endia, Laurel, Sawyer and EllaGrace; five great grandchildren, RyLynn, Addison, Joseph, Trip and Natalie; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Louie is preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Oneida Irving, Sr., his brother and sister-in-law, Larry, and Patricia Irving and the love of his life, Judy Carol Irving who passed away on February 13, 2022.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe. Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in West Monroe with burial to follow at McCormick Cemetery in West Monroe.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jacob Myers, Richard Harris, Austin Kingrey, Josue Hernandez, Gavin Peacock, Josh Chandler and Ethan Chandler.

Special thanks to the staff members of Alpine Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ruston and Louisiana Hospice Care, notably his attending nurse, Robin Rhone who took such wonderful care of him.
