Though he has journeyed beyond our sight, his spirit lives on in every memory we hold dear. In the stories we share and the love he gave, Louis remains-never truly gone but carried forward in our hearts.

Louis Washington Bell, Jr., 67, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at Dallas Regional Hospital.

Born in Marshall, Texas on July 3, 1958, Louis graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in 1976. He dedicated many years to Texas Instruments as a Facility Service Supervisor, managing the East Building Complex and ensuring safe, efficient services for all associates. He later worked with Rytech Industries as a project manager, helping develop and implement subcontractor cleaning services for Texas Instruments. Louis also spent over a decade in logistics at RockTenn American Paper and Packaging.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Washington Bell, Sr. and Barbara Jean Bell; his sisters Ladonna Calhoun, Janice Roberson, and Pamela Bell; and his nephew Jonathan Fullilove.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Georgia Mae Bell; his children Yulisa, Melvin (Rhonda), and Mahagony; grandchildren Jaderique, Roamell, Jahmel, Jaivin, Yeurie, Brooklyn, Malachi, and Malayah; great-grandchildren Janiyah, Josiah, Jair, Parish, Jahweh, Zayn, and Kaylani; siblings Fred, Regina, David (Angela), Barbara, and Lisa; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

Louis will be fondly remembered for his unwavering love of the Dallas Cowboys, his joy in fishing, his appreciation for fancy cars and his skill as a self-taught mechanic. He took pride in his sharp vintage suits, his mastery on the BBQ pit, and his talent as an all-around handyman-building fences, fixing anything he touched, and lending a helping hand whenever needed.
