Louis P. Brumage

Louis Pierre Yves Brumage (80) of Virginia Beach, VA., passed away on March 12, 2024. He was born on February 21, 1944, in Rennes, France.
Lou attended schools in Cambridge, England and graduated from Roslyn High School, Long Island, New York in 1962. He proudly served for four years in the U.S. Navy and was a loyal and devoted employee of Norfolk Southern Railroad for thirty-one years, retiring in June 2004.
In his early years, Lou enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, fishing, and golf. In later years, he was content at home with his family and beloved dogs.
Lou is survived by his wife Paula, of thirty-five years; a daughter, Trudy Brumage; one grandson, Skylar Soto; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving him are two step-children and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Yvonne Bourges Brumage and Keneth Marshall Brumage, and his younger sister, Margot.
Lou will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and genuinely kind soul to all who knew him. May we honor his memory by living our own lives with love, humility, and caring.
