Richard Wade Jr.

On December 2, 2025, Richard "Ricky" Wade passed away.
If you knew Rick, you knew Mila. She remains surrounded by family who love her deeply and are caring for her every day. Rick faced his struggles with courage and strength. He was a hard worker, proud of the HVAC business he built with his own hands. Born and raised in Norfolk, he never lived anywhere else and always called it home.
Left to cherish his memory is: sister, Misty Mount, and her husband, Peter; brother, Doug Rink and wife, Kelly. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews-Zack, Logan, Trey, Hunter, and Macy-and more friends than could ever be named. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Payne, who passed earlier this year. The holiday season was especially difficult for him without her.
Rick was known for his big heart and his love for life's simple joys-casting a fishing line, cheering on his beloved 49ers, and spending time with the people he loved most.
His journey was not always easy, and his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Yet his memory lives on in everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is deeply missed and forever loved.
