It is with overwhelming sadness we announce the passing of Louis A. Callari. He passed peacefully holding the hands of his loving family on May 30, 2025 at the age of 77.

He is predeceased by his parents Louis G. and Angela Callari , (birth mother) Colleen Guarino Callari, sister Donna Charles, and sister-in-law, Diane Mills and brother-in-law William Rodha.

He is survived by (mother of his children and lifelong friend) Sandra Clark, son, Christopher (Gia) Callari and daughter, Nicole English (Kevin), Grand Children, Isabella, Giavanna, Valentina, Tyler, Brittany, Samantha (Jeremy), Victoria, great grandchildren , Daniel, Jennie and Jason. As well as brothers and sisters, Margaret, Kathleen, Stephen “Big”, Walter (Rose), Stephen “Little” (Karen), Anthony (Mary) and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Louie was an extremely talented mason, which he learned the trade at an early age with his father. Carrying on the name with his own business “Edify Masonry” until he retired. Forever leaving his mark on many of the buildings around Rochester and the surrounding areas. He was a very talented artist with a big heart, a gentle giant and enjoyed spending time with his family eating good food, joking, and laughing. You could often find him at his quiet spot Seneca Park Pond feeding the birds.

Please join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, June 7th 2025 calling hours will be held 12-2 pm at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services. In “lou” of flowers, go buy a stranger a cup of coffee.
