Louis "Louie" Carpentieri

Louis "Louie" Carpentieri of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted father, brother, and friend, Louie will be remembered for his generous spirit, his quick wit, and the unmistakable rhythm he carried through life - both in conversation and behind a drum set.
Born on July 8, 1959, in Brockton to Geraldine (Capozzi) and Michael A. Carpentieri, Sr., Louie grew up with a deep love of music, family, and community. He is survived by his three beloved daughters, each of whom brought him immense pride: Aimee Thomas of Middleborough, her husband Dale, and their daughter Alice; Melissa Brown of Easton and her husband Ryan; and Catherine Carpentieri of Los Angeles. He is also survived by his former wife and the mother of his children, Eileen, with whom he shared many of life's most meaningful years.
Family meant everything to Louie. He is survived by his sister, MaryAnna Carpentieri-Schmid, her former husband John, and their children, Kristina and John Marcus; and by his brother, Daniel, his wife Mary, and their daughters, Kelly Russo -also his goddaughter- and Emily Carpentieri. Louie is predeceased by his brother, Michael "Junior" Carpentieri. Junior's wife, Maureen, and their sons, Michael and Nicholas -his godson- remember him with great affection.
Louie was a devoted small business owner of many years, and proved his family business was more than a livelihood - it was a reflection of his tireless work ethic. Through early mornings, long days, and countless challenges, Louie remained steadfast in his commitment to leaving behind a legacy of integrity and perseverance.
A lifelong lover of music, Louie spent many years drumming in local bands, always keeping perfect time - even when the rest of the world sometimes fell a beat behind him. When he wasn't tapping out rhythms on any nearby surface, he could often be found on the golf course, where he approached the game with the same joy and humor he brought to everything in life (even if his scorecard sometimes suggested his swing had a mind of its own).
Louie's warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion to those he loved leave a lasting imprint on all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
