Louis DeSisti age seventy five, passed away peacefully on February twenty-ninth surrounded by family. Louis was born and raised in Rochester NY to Joseph and Lena DeSisti. Devoted husband, father and Papa. Survived by his wife of forty-one years, Teresa DeSisti (Tomasso), daughters and sons-in-law Andrea and Stephen Sevene, Lisa and Jordan Crockett. Loving Papa to Cole and Olivia. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
As a lifetime city resident, he attended Edison Technical School and graduated in 1967. Lou married Teresa in 1982 and raised two daughters. He spent much of his working career helping and mentoring others. As a parishioner of Holy Family, he volunteered countless hours assisting Seniors, Youth and church committees.
Lou was a car enthusiast of the 1960s Muscle Cars. He would spend hours with friends discussing the merits of different cars and working to upgrade performance. Lou's interests also included bowling, golf, fishing and auto racing. Lou was a fun-loving man always ready with a joke.
Friends may call 3-7pm Tuesday March 5, 2024 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral mass 10am Wednesday at St. Marks Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Lou will be greatly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Padre Pio Chapel, 141 Frank Dimino Way, Rochester NY 14624.

Lou was my chauffeur when I had foot surgery, there when we we needed fishing line untangled, we didn“t tangle them. Always there for for a chat for Gary.
