Louis lived a life marked by resilience, dedication, and an unwavering love for those around him.
Louis was a skilled welder and a successful business owner of Gary's Machine and Downhole in Parks, Louisiana. His work ethic was unparalleled; he had a unique ability to plan for the future and ensure that tasks were accomplished with urgency, often saying that if something needed to be done, it should have been done "yesterday."
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Louis had a passionate spirit that led him to embrace skydiving and aviation, pursuits that he enjoyed immensely. His wife, Elsie, was the light of his life. Louis's love for Elsie was profound, and their bond was a testament to commitment and devotion. Louis will be remembered not only for his toughness and determination but also for the deep and caring way he embraced those who were important to him.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Elsie Mouton Gary; sons, Wayne Gary (Rosangela) and Mike Gary; grandchildren, Joshua Gary (Hollie) and Jake Gary (Kate); great-grandchildren, Ella and Elwood; and brother, Wilfred Gary.
