Louis Gentile Obituary
Louis was born in New Haven on May 23rd, 1937 to the later Andrew and Jenny Gentile. Louis was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School Class of '56 and worked for many years as a truck driver. He was a well loved and respected man who made friends everywhere he went. Louis enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles and time spent outdoors. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter.
Louis was a wonderful father and grandfather and deeply devoted to his family. He is survived by his children Louis Gentile Jr., Andrea Gentile, Donna Meracondi, Joseph Gentile & James Gentile; as well as 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his daughter Jodi Modena and son-in-law Chris Meracondi.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Louis' family on Friday April 3rd from 5:00-7:00 PM at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main Street. A parlor service will begin at 6:30pm.
