Louis Henry Mulkey, Sr., loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend, passed away on August 26, 2025, at Williamsport Retirement Village at the age of 75.

He was born on September 1, 1949 in Johnstown, PA to the late Jack and Anna Mulkey.

Louis graduated from Westmont High School in Johnstown, PA before enlisting in the U.S. Navy

He lived his life with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the things that brought him joy, especially his family, his children, and the many friendships he held dear. Known for his sense of humor and love of joking around, he had a way of making people smile and feel at ease wherever he went.

A true adventurer at heart, Louis found happiness on the open road and in the thrill of discovering new places. He worked in auto sales most of his life, mostly as a salesman and wholesaler. Louis had a special passion for Corvettes, and nothing lit him up quite like taking a drive in one of his beloved cars. He also enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas, going on vacations, and being outdoors.

He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Louis is survived by his loving wife of nearly 55 years Deborah Mulkey; son Louis Henry Mulkey, Jr.; grandchildren: Logan Ryan Mulkey and Charlotte Paige Mulkey; niece Becky Griffith (Pam); nephews Scott Griffith (Holly) and Jim Griffith (Judy).

Louis was preceded in death by his son David Ryan Mulkey whom he was able to donate a kidney to, allowing him to live for 10 more years with this selfless act; brother-in-law Donald and Marcia Griffith; mother and father-in-law Audrey and Donald Griffith.

His adventurous spirit, kind heart, and playful nature will always be remembered.

A celebration of life will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday September 5, 2025, at 1:00 pm. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service on Friday from 12:00 (noon) – 1:00 pm.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County 1710 Underpass Way Ste. 300 Hagerstown, MD 21740.
