Louis Rosellini Obituary

Louis F. Rosellini, 68, of Fort Myers, Fla., and Butler, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, daughters and loving family and friends, on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025.
He was the beloved husband for 27 years of Connie (Turner) Rosellini; proud and devoted father of Lauren of Boulder, Colo., and Morgan Rosellini of New York City; son of the late Louis and Marilyn (Walsh) Rosellini; brother of Cynthia Rosellini, the late Cathy Hauber and Jaime Rosellini (survived by Lou Ann); son-in-law of Octavia (the late Mitchell) Turner; and brother-in-law of Steve (Jackie), Lisa (Rob) Allnutt, Jeff (Gwen) and Jonathan (Tammy) Turner. He also is survived by two generations of cherished nieces and nephews; and his loyal companion, Gianni Versace.
Lou pioneered non-dentist, private ownership and management of dental practices. He was the founder and CEO of All About Smiles in Western Pennsylvania, proudly being the largest provider of dentistry for the underserved; and Sunshine Dental Centers in Southwest Florida. In addition, he created Innovative Billing Systems of Florida.
Lou was a member of the board of trustees for Canterbury School in Fort Myers and copresident of the Jaime V. Rosellini Healing Hearts Foundation. Lou was an invested member of the board of trustees in the revitalization of the Penn Theater and hosted numerous political and charity campaigns in Florida.
Lou will be fondly remembered for his generosity to the Gulfshore Ballet, Smile Train, Make-A-Wish, Colon Cancer Coalition (Mitch Turner Drive Away Cancer Classic), Gaiser Center of Butler and Hope for Hospice. He was also a member of St. John Paul XXIII Catholic Church of Fort Myers.
Lou was an avid cyclist, winning numerous events, including the Tour de Cape and triathlon events in Captiva, Fla. His proudest accomplishment was completing the Horrible Hundred (100 miles in one day). He was a consummate Steelers fan and traveled to many out-of-town games, including a few Super Bowls.
Lou loved snow skiing, traveling, especially to his beloved Italy, and digging holes in the sand on the beach for his girls. His passion for music, dancing, fashion and food made him the life of the party. If you knew Lou, you called him, "Brother." As fondly quoted by many, "He would give you the shirt off his back."
ROSELLINI - Service and committal in Calvary Cemetery for Louis F. Rosellini, who died Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, will be private.
If desired, memorials may be made to AHN Hospice Care or any of Lou's favorite charities previously mentioned.
Private arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

Yesterday

So crushed to hear about Louis´s passing. He was a positive ball of energy with a big heart and a great big brother to Jaime. Although I didn´t see him very much in these later years, I enjoyed running into him. I´ll never forget a long conversation we had about my decision to go into the peace corps out of college. At the time he questioned my desire to go work in a developing country in terms of all the comforts that I would be giving up. I did didn´t see it that way at all. I was looking forward to the adventure and of course the opportunity to give back. And so it´s bittersweet to read Louis´s obituary because he obviously gave very much back to his community no matter where he lived, and he certainly gave to those who are underserved. Godspeed Louis. Please say hello to Jaime for me.

I've known Lou for quite a few years. Our paths crossed often in Butler, but most recently at Heritage Palms in Fort Myers where we rent for a 3-month period in the winter. Next year will be our 12th year, and it never failed that I'd get a call from Lou or Connie inviting us to go to their house for some gathering, or to meet for dinner. Lou was always a very gracious man. May he rest in peace in the arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
