Louis Santella

Louis Santella, age 56, of West Haven entered into rest on October 9th, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital with his loving wife Rose Dinice by his side.
He was born in Westport, Connecticut on June 6, 1969 son of Marjorie Santella and the late Louis Santella, he will be remembered by all as a "gentle giant" and a handyman that always had a project he was working on. An avid gym rat, he loved practicing powerlifting alongside his wife. His most treasured moments were spent alongside her, whether it be travelling to places like Las Vegas, Florida, and Bermuda, or enjoying the simpler things in life like fine dining, a relaxing massage, or a night at the movies. Louis also enjoyed spending time outdoors, an avid cyclist and enjoyer of watersports, specifically jetskiing.
Aside from his wife and mother, Louis is survived by his son LJ Santella and daughter Adriana Sanderfoot and her husband Joseph. Louis is also survived by his brother Mark Santella and his wife Joan and their children Christopher, and Amy, and sister-in-law Emily, and her two children William and Elyse. Louis was also predeceased by his brother Michael Santella.
Friends and family are invited to show their support during the calling hours to be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 4-6p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, with a celebration of life to follow immediately at 6 pm.
