Louis Samuel Sigmund, age 84, died on March 5, 2025 at home. Lou was born in Pen Argyl, PA, and resided in Boothwyn, PA for 55 years. He was a 1962 Graduate of West Chester State College, where he excelled in Piano. Lou taught music for 35 years at Darby-Colwyn Junior High School during the days and for many of these years, he played in The Moonlighters, an 18 piece Big Band.
Following his teaching career, Lou used his creative mind to learn about computers. He and a few friends started the TRS-80 computer group to share knowledge about computers. Lou also established his own business called "Lou's Computer Service" in which he would build, repair, update, and teach computer skills. This is when he became The Computer Guy.
Lou married Meri in 1970 and in 1975 and subsequent years became a father to daughters Katie, Rosanne, Kelly, and Stephanie. He was a proud father and loved his family more than anything. He was the center and rock of his family and expressed his love for them until the very end. He found immeasurable comfort knowing he was surrounded with friends and family as he passed away.
