Vincent de Berardinis, 76 years old, of Wallingford, PA, passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born on October 12, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA to Vincent de Berardinis and Elizabeth de Berardinis (Friel), he graduated from Ridley Park High School. Vincent served honorably in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant from November 22, 1968 to April 1, 1971. Vincent served in Vietnam where he suffered a traumatic injury. He received a National Defense Service Medal, Purple Heart, Silver Star, Bronze Star Medal with Valor (V), Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with Dev (OLC), and Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Dev (Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal). Following his service, he retired as a permanently disabled veteran. Vincent lived many lives and worked several jobs following his military service, but his most cherished and favorite job was working as a blackjack dealer in Atlantic City, NJ.

Vincent was passionate about his family, and was known for his bravery, kindness, strength, and humor. He was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Vincent also enjoyed reading, traveling the world, watching sports, music, breeding dogs, boating, fishing, and taking care of his family. He dedicated his life to his four daughters, and spent many years volunteering as the President of the Nether Providence Soccer Club.

Vincent is survived by his daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren: Elizabeth Grabey (de Berardinis) and Steven Grabey; Catherine Barnhart (de Berardinis) and her children, Vincent Barnhart and Liliana Barnhart; Jennifer Doherty (de Berardinis) and Tyler Doherty, and their daughter, Cameron Doherty; and Sarah de Berardinis. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Jonathan Reiser (Malise-spouse).

He is also survived by his cousins, who were his brothers and sisters: Marianne Yorke, Joseph A. Yorke (Judy-spouse), Bill Yorke (Louise-spouse), Mike Yorke (Katee-spouse), Ann Rudolph (Yorke) (Christopher-spouse), Therese Abruzzese (Yorke), Dan Yorke (Peg-spouse), and Cathy Ward (Yorke) (Jack-spouse).

Vincent is predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Elizabeth, and brother, John de Berardinis. He is also predeceased by his uncle and aunt, who were like his father and mother: Joseph G. Yorke and Catherine Yorke (Friel).

The viewing will occur on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cavanagh Family Funeral Homes, Inc. & Private Crematory, 43 E Baltimore Ave., Media, PA 19063. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at St. John Chrysostom, 617 S Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086.
