Louis Edward Slockbower

Louis Edward Slockbower, 78, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024. He was born in Hamburg, New Jersey, on March 17, 1946, to Douglas Slockbower and Doris Decker Slockbower. Louis was married to Mary Shader Slockbower for 46 years. He served in the United States Navy for 4 years. Louis had a passion for trapping gators, hunting, fishing, his grandchildren and great grandson.
Louis was preceded in death by his father, Douglas O. Slockbower; his mother, Doris Decker Slockbower; his brother, Douglas G. Slockbower; and his wife, Mary Shader Slockbower.
Louis is survived by his sister, Andrea Rowell and her husband Mickey Rowell; his sister, Sandra Bateman; his daughter, Dorene Deriemacker and her husband, Richard Deriemacker; his daughter, Denise Smith and her husband, Ronnie Smith; his grandchildren, Ariel Slockbower, Hunter Smith, and Landen Smith; his great grandson, Oliver Houchens; and many nieces and nephews.
