Louis Strunk Obituary
Louis Lee Strunk, age 76 of Cincinnati passed away Saturday September 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 24, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Paul Sr. and Evelyn (Hanson) Strunk. Louis graduated from Kettering School of Medical Arts with a degree in Respiratory Therapy and spent his career in management, retiring from Adena Regional Medical Center as an administrator. Louis was a self-taught musician; and enjoyed golfing, coin collecting and following the stock market. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Persinger and Patricia Shirk. Louis is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sunny; daughter, Tieraney (Lou) Flores; seven grandchildren, McKenna, Luis Jr., Thomas, Maria, Curtis, Melissa, Melena; brother, Paul Jr. (Brenda) Strunk; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. A visitation will be held on Thursday September 14, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral will be held on Friday at 2:00 P.M. on Friday September 15, 2023. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati in memory of Louis.
