Louis R. Tor, age 39 of Myrtle Beach, S.C. (formerly of Wayne, N.J.) passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022.
Lou was born in Pompton Plains and was the second child to Blane Tor and Nancy Cole. Lou grew up in Wayne which is where he met his beautiful wife Danielle at the age of 21. Lou and Danielle moved from Wayne to Myrtle Beach, S.C. in 2015.
One of Lou's favorite hobbies was fishing with his father, family, and friends, especially at the "Honey Hole." He also was an avid New York Giants fan. Another hobby of Lou's was being an avid shoe collector. He enjoyed walking the beach, collecting shark teeth, and hanging out at home with his cats. However, Lou's greatest passion, aside from his hobbies and interests, was his wife Danielle. Nothing in the world meant more to Lou than his family and his friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make you smile no matter what the situation. He was compassionate, generous, and would go out of his way to help anyone that needed it. Lou touched the lives of every person he came across and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Louis is survived by his wife Danielle (nee Dizzia) of Myrtle Beach; parents, Blane Tor of Wayne, N.J. and Nancy Cole of Dunellon, FL.; brother, Blane M. Tor of West Milford, N.J.; two sisters, Crystal Rakauckas and her husband, Tom of Mannville, N.J. and Raven Howarth of Dunellon, FL.; two nephews, Hayden and Eli, and three nieces, Lily, Dahlia, and Ariel; as well as many other family and friends. Lou is predeceased by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, N.J.
