Louis Wayne Williams, 75 of Jefferson, TX passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, in Linden, TX. He was born August 15, 1950, in Duncan, OK to Louis Etheridge Williams and Freda J. Wilkerson.

At the age of 19, he was drafted into the United States Army where he served proudly and honorably a 3-year term. During this time, he met and married Deborah Lou Kinser on February 26, 1971.

Louis Wayne was known for being a great brother, protector, and lover of the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a long-time member of the Church of Christ in McKinney TX. Just recently he rededicated his life to Christ and was recently Baptized.

He spent the greater part of his life working as a forklift operator for Kone in McKinney TX, where he retired after 20 years of service. He and Deborah retired to Jefferson TX enjoying country life, trips to the lake and motorcycle rides.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Etheridge and Freda J. Williams.

Louis is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Deborah Williams of Jefferson, TX; son, Louis Wayne Williams Jr. of Ennis TX; daughter, Theresa Rene & husband Mark W. Arnold of Bells TX; son, Jeremy Don Williams & partner Crystal McGinn of Jefferson TX; 4 grandchildren, Anthony Ray & wife Amanda Williams of Chapmansboro, TN, James Taylor & wife Kaylea Boydstun of Sherman, TX, Jacob & wife Maggie Williams of Princeton, TX, and Justin & wife Vicky Williams of Princeton, TX; 9 great grandchildren, Allie & Harley Williams of McKinney, TX, Tucker Williams of Chapmansboro, TN, Parker, Gentry, Jensen, Charlie Boydstun of Sherman, TX, and Ren & Quin Williams of Princeton, TX; brother, Larry Williams of Princeton, TX; sister, Sharon Gilbert of Princeton, TX; sister, Deborah Lephakis of Princeton, TX; sister, Susan & husband Rick Buff of McKinney, TX; sister, Deanna & husband Billy Nutt of Princeton, TX; sister Darla & husband Larry Fish of Sachse, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Rickey Granstaff, officiating.
