Louise A. Beasley, daughter of the late Nellie Conklin and James Easley, was born on October 6, 1946, in Paterson, New Jersey.
She was educated in the Paterson Public School System and graduated from Eastside High School.
Louise was united in holy matrimony to Joseph Beasley, and from this union five children were born: James, Brian, Michael, Tabitha and Nicole. In 1966 after divorce, Louise became an employee at Hoffman La-Roche in Nutley New Jersey. She became a supervisor for the Accounts Payable department and remained with the company until her retirement in 2010, after forty-four years of loyal service.
In the early 1980's Louise began searching for a church home to help give her a foundation in which to raise her daughter. She became a member of the Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Pastor W. Louis McDowell and Sanella McDowell. In 1986 her daughter Brittany was born and their journey as mother, daughter and kingdom builders began. Louise was a faithful and dedicated member of the Mt. Pilgrim Deaconess board until her illness prevented her from fulfilling her duties. During her tenure at Mt. Pilgrim, Ms. Louise, affectionately known as "Auntie" or "Weezy" as she was known by Teddy, was a part of the village that raised many children that came through the doors of Mt. Pilgrim.
She spent her time with her daughter, her cousin Deidra who she called Pebbles, and going to Atlantic city with her Aunt Rose. Thanksgiving was her favorite time of the year, because she loved to be in the kitchen preparing meals that she had learned to make from spending time with her family in Camden, South Carolina. She also enjoyed spending her birthday at her favorite Italian restaurant Bella Napoli, where she and her daughter became family due to their loyal patronage. Louise loved watching the food network and criticizing that the chefs didn't wash the meat before cooking it. She was known for making her famous fried chicken, fried fish, baked macaroni and cheese, and homemade biscuits.
As her last days were approaching her favorite memories were going to New York City with her daughter and Deidra for Mother's Day, and the last BBQ in the backyard of her home where her family was invited, and Barry Sallie was on the grill making the ribs. She was known for opening her house up to anyone at any time.
Many lovely things are destined to be with us for only a short period of time. We know the beauty of nature which has its time and its seasons. The twinkling of the stars which can only be enjoyed at midnight. We are richer for having seen them, touched by having enjoyed them, and blessed for having known them. How much more rewarding, then, is the memory of my dear mother who leaves a legacy of faith, ambition, old school values and memories that I will always cherish, until we meet again. When asked what she wanted her legacy to be, she said "I want the life I live to speak for me. I want people to see God through me."
Louise was predeceased in death by her mother; Nellie Conklin, her father; James Easley, children; Brian Beasley, Tabitha Beasley, Nicole Beasley, Michael Beasley and James Beasley.
On Friday June 7, 2024, Louise boarded the charity bound for glory, after a long period of illness, and departed this life.
She leaves precious memories to her beloved daughter; Brittany Beasley of Passaic, NJ; adopted sons; Benjamin, Dwayne Roberts, Sam Smith, Quentin Battle and Michael Veal Jr.; adopted; daughters, Manisha Miles, Kenella and Kenya Moore, godchildren; John Streater Jr. "Champ" Ross and Monty, special friends; Rev. Mable Grier and Deaconess Peggy Lee, Dena Lynn Winston-Battle who's life she has been in since she was ten years old; her cousin, Deidra Albritton- Bundick, Alvin Bundick of Paterson, NJ, aunts; Rosalee Albritton of Paterson, NJ, Becky of Florida, uncle; Jay of New York; Nala who was affectionately called "Noochie Pooh" and Brianna Rose Bundick who she called "Bri Bri" and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

To the Beasley family, we shall always remember Louise for her, caring, sharing of love and support, under the pastorate of the Late Pastor Moderator Rev. Dr. Ronald W. Johnson, for our endeavors with Camp Union of Passaic, NJ.
She provided excellent care with the financial records, as well as being instrumental with our Camp Union 5th Anniversary. She loved children just like all of us. She enrolled daughter Brittney another act of support. Thank you for sharing her with us because we shall never forget her unselfish commitment. To God Be the Glory for the great things He has done in her life.
Our Prayers surround you now and upcoming days,
Family of the Late, Late Pastor Moderator Rev. Dr. Ronald W. Johnson
