Louise Anne Beirne

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Louise Anne Cogley Beirne, after her heroic battle with cancer came to an end at the age of 56 years old. Louise was born on March 19th, 1969, to Jessie and Wallace Cogley in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 5th, 2025 in Pinetown, North Carolina. Louise was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher.

Louise was an incredibly passionate educator, whose students and colleagues brought her great joy and strength during her battle with cancer. Louise also took great joy in being a dedicated grandmother and had a very remarkable role in her grandson's life. She significantly touched the lives of everyone she met, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
