Thomas Patrick Beirne

Thomas Patrick Beirne, 20, son of Gerard and Sheila (Olohan) Beirne died at home from complications of Leigh's Syndrome, a Mitochondrial disorder, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He is predeceased in death by his sister, Sheila Catherine and his grandparents, Frank Beirne and Bill and Kathy Olohan, his uncle, Damien Beirne and his aunt, Maria (Olohan) Flanders. He is survived by his siblings Gerard, John Paul, Joseph, Bernadette, Mary, Gabriel, Bartholomew, Raphael, Anthony, Lucy and Matthias; his grandmother, Nuala Beirne of Ballinlough, Ireland; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Thomas had physical and neurological limitations that made navigating the world difficult but he did not let those limitations stop him from living life to the fullest. He loved to dance and sing as a child. He continued to sing throughout his life particularly along with his favorite songs on K-Love Radio. Thomas also loved his hours in the adoration chapel at St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish in Clinton, MA. He was an integral part of his family's life and business. Thomas had many devoted friends who will miss him dearly.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Monday, August 11, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery in Lancaster, MA.
