Louise Gravemann

Louise Selma Gravemann, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Virgil Gravemann; cherished daughter of the late Arthur and Selma Diekamp; devoted mother of Brenda (Mark) Henning; cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Brittany) Cummins, Lindsey (Tim) West, and Jake (Alyse) Henning; treasured great-grandmother of Connor, Nolan, Avery, Chloe and Leah.

Louise was preceded in death by her siblings: Herbert Diekamp, Alvera Schmidt, Verna Schwede, Evelyn Kyle, Arthur Diekamp, Jr., Alice Gravemann, Dorothy Mallinckrodt, Leona Mallinckrodt and Elmer Diekamp.

Louise was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ where she enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. Louise enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson, to see the country music shows. She enjoyed playing cards in various card clubs, especially with friends weekly when Virgil was alive. Louise also enjoyed cross stitching and quilting; she made several quilts over the years. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her great-grandchildren. Louise was a selfless woman, always thoughtful and very giving. Louise was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
