Louise Manns, 67, of Lafayette, went on to glory surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Rose Walk Village in Lafayette.
Louise was born June 11, 1957 in Rensselaer, Indiana to the late Lee and Gertrude (Howard) Risner. Her marriage was to Skid Manns on June 20, 1979 in Virgie, Indiana. He survives. Professionally, Louise worked for many years at the Schumacher Company. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending church and singing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Angela Manns of Lafayette, Ronnie (Leann) Manns of Frankfort, and Ryan (Suzi) Manns of Lafayette; siblings, Jerry (Lee) Risner of Hobart, Ralph (Joyce) Risner of Plymouth, and Bonnie (Dane) Jenkins of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren, Morgan, Hailey, Cameron, Tristan, Samuel, Isaac and Jude Manns; one great grandchild, Malik Manns.
Louise is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Roger Risner.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Hippensteel Funeral Home, 822 North 9th, Lafayette. Funeral Services to follow at the funeral home on Friday morning at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at Meadow View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Mental Health of America.
