Louise Houston McMarion

Louise McMarion was born on May 11, 1924, in Austin, Texas, to William Agusta and Tennie C. of Houston, Texas. She departed this life on Wednesday, October20, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Barbara Ann McMarion; grandchild, Ryan McMarion; and her two sisters, Ellaner Houston and Etta Mae Houston-Brown.
From her early youth and throughout adulthood, she professed her faith in Christ. She was baptized at Lincoln Baptist Church and later joined Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. She was a long standing member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she was involved with Mission II and the Combine Choir, until her health no longer permitted her to do so.
She retired from Scottish Rite Dormitory in 1997. Louise was a Mother to many of those that knew and loved her.
Louise leaves her wonderful memories to her seven children: Mary Barrs, Juanita York, Cleo McMarion and wife, Mary, Beatrice Washington, Leon McMarion and wife, Nancy, Ronnie McMarion, and Lisa and husband, Douglas; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and nineteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
