Louise "Nanny" Nelson, age 90, of Rose Bud, Arkansas, passed away on December 9, 2022. Born on July 28, 1932, in Rose Bud, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Huey and Bertie Cranford Crisco.
Louise was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charlie Nelson, her granddaughter Kallie Nelson, and her brothers Jim Crisco, and Dan Crisco.
She is survived by her daughter JoAnn Simpson (Mike) of Romance, Arkansas, her sons Roger Nelson (Gela), Phillip Nelson (Annette), and Tim Nelson (Dina) all of Rose Bud, Arkansas, her sister Lona Bennett of Rose Bud, Arkansas, her grandchildren Lesa Williams (Eric) of Rose Bud, Arkansas, Casey George (Shawn) of Conway, Arkansas, Tony Nelson (Amanda) of Oklahoma, Lewis Nelson (Jakea) of Rose Bud, Arkansas, Dusty Watkins of Rose Bud, Arkansas, and Misty Turner (Quentin) of Rose Bud, Arkansas, her great-grandchildren Kelsie Williams (Cody), Korie Williams (Dalton), Alec Goodnight, Avery Goodnight, Khloie George, Brantley George, and her great-great-grandchild Charlie Ann Morgan, 7 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Nelson is also survived by her other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Olmstead Funeral Home with funeral services following on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:00pm in the South Crossroads Community Church with Bro. Doug Fry and Rev. Kenneth Rolland, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethesda Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lewis Nelson, Dusty Fry, David Rowland, Steve Andrews, Mark Andrews, and Wade Adcock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Nelson, Eric Williams, and Shawn George.
