After his passing, she was blessed to find love again with Paul Shepard with whom she shared seventeen years of marriage. A woman of faith, Louise was a lifelong Methodist and a dedicated member of First United Methodist Church in Burleson. She loved to garden, and she went on numerous cruises and travel adventures. Those who knew her will remember her as a devoted, strong-willed and full of humor yet always warm and welcoming to those she held close.
She leaves behind her children, Patricia Vollenweider and Carl Burress; her grandchildren Will Vollenweider (Tami), Amy Wagner (Robb), Charlotte Burress (Richard Morency), and Jacqueline Tuttle (Julia); six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She also was a loving aunt, great aunt, and great-great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and adored her cousins and their children.
